Behold an Anglia.
From Ford of Britain (hence the name!), preceded the Mk1 Escort. The Escort was a Ford of Europe car, made in both Germany and the UK. Exactly the same in each case with one crucial difference - Ford Britain made their ones in Imperial units, Ford Germany used metric.
The Mk2 gave up on the feet and inches and was metricated wherever it was made.
Top trivia: the Anglia used the same radiator as its predecessor and so retained a hole where you could have inserted a starting handle.

I can almost imagine the confusion in Wert’s eyes. Where to dragon this car (first)?

That parking space is a thing of beauty.

A holy provision from the car gods unto the classic car enthusiast that his baby may not be kicked, or scratched by the uncaring, and inattentive “normal people” in their unholy Camrys, and Focuses.

It’s used as a display area by a company valeting cars. They have a pair of Sierras across the way.

I know someone who is a huge fan of the Anglia.
It’s an interesting little car, watching them race is always fun as well.
